Who these terms are with

Little Echo is made by Heart & Soul Media, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between us and the adult who downloads or subscribes to Little Echo ("you").

On iPhone and iPad, Little Echo is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. On Android (when available), Google Play's terms apply to your download and purchases. These terms add a few details specific to Little Echo. If they ever conflict with the app store's agreement, the app store's agreement applies.

Using Little Echo with your child

• Little Echo is made for young children to use with a parent or caregiver. An adult sets it up, manages settings and makes any purchase.
• You agree to use the app for your family's personal, non-commercial learning.
• Little Echo supports language learning, but children learn at their own pace and we can't promise particular results.
• Adults can also add a grown-up profile and learn alongside their child.

Your family account

• Little Echo uses a free family account, created by a parent during setup. It keeps your children's progress in sync across your devices.
• You must be 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live) and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add.
• You can invite another parent or caregiver to your family account. You're responsible for who you invite and for keeping your sign-in safe.
• You can delete your account at any time from the grown-ups area. We may close an account that is misused, after telling you why where we can.

Subscriptions

• A set of first words is free to use, with no time limit. A Little Echo Full Access subscription unlocks the rest of the app. Current prices and lengths are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account (or Google Play account on Android) when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If an introductory price applies, the subscription renews at the regular price shown in the app after the introductory period. If we change the regular price, the app store will tell you before it applies to you.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds are handled by the app store under its policies. For Apple purchases, you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• A subscription covers everyone in your Little Echo family account, on every device where your family is signed in.

Offer codes and gift months

We may give out offer codes or free months, for example through partners or when one family invites another. Each offer shows its terms when you redeem it, is redeemed through the app store, can't be exchanged for cash, and may end at any time before it is redeemed.

Schools and classrooms

If we offer a plan for schools or classrooms, it will come with its own terms.

Our content

The words, pictures, voices, letters and design in Little Echo belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Please don't copy, share or resell them outside the app.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what the app keeps and how. In short: no ads, no tracking, and your child's voice is never recorded or sent to us.

Changes and availability

We may update Little Echo, add or change content, or update these terms. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. We don't promise the app will always be available or free of errors.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Little Echo is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
